Rules
Although you are allowed to ideate before the start of the Hackathon, you are strictly prohibited from submitting any form of your team’s code, implementation of ideas or prepared material before the Hackathon starts. Any team found to do so will face immediate disqualification. We have a zero-tolerance stance towards plagiarism.
All code submitted should be original and you should have the right to submit, publicise and use them. Third-party open-source packages and tools are permitted, but participants are required to cite and have permission to use said tools. The YouthxHack 2023 Organising Team reserves the right to disqualify any team that attempts to circumvent these rules and violate the integrity of the competition.
You are free to work on your project any time from the start of the competition, up till the latest time for submission on Day 2. We recommend that you make ample time to rest, and not work after the in-person event on the 9th of February, in preparation of the next day’s presentation.
